Booking Conditions

Your holiday may be reserved by using our website, phone, or e-mail, and a deposit of 30% of your total reservation cost.

We would prefer you to pay by bank transfer, but we will accept cheques.

At the time of booking, we would ask you to provide your full name and address, telephone number, e-mail contacts, and the number of guests in your party.

The balance of your reservation costs will be due in full 8 weeks before your arrival. A security deposit of £200 per property should be paid with your final balance. The deposit is refundable on departure if all is in order and no damage/loss has occurred.

We will contact you in the week prior to your arrival to make arrangements to meet you at the property and give you a key. Check-in time is between 6 pm and 9 pm. Different times may be available by request. Check-out time is 9.00 am on the day of departure.

Any cancellation of the booking fee will be nonrefundable unless the property is re-let at the same value. If re-let for a shorter period the difference in booking fee will be retained. We suggest you take out holiday insurance, but this is your choice, it is not compulsory.

insurance need not be taken out by the hirer, but guests should be aware that any damage caused or items broken must be paid for in full.

The property will be inspected prior to your arrival, any problems will be pointed out to you at the time. Any further defects found when you depart will be billed to the hirer at cost.

Any defects that occur whilst guests are in residence should be notified to the owner or her representative immediately so repairs can be carried out and damage can be kept to a minimum.

Guests are requested to wash all pots/crockery and cutlery and to put them away. Please leave the cottage in a tidy condition.

Guests are asked to put all rubbish in the appropriate rubbish/recycling bins provided.

All properties are no smoking and no pets. Smoking is allowed outside the property but please ensure that the cigarette ends are disposed of safely and tidily in the waste bins.
