Visit our Beautiful gardens

Our 30-year gardening journey began with an overgrown, unloved space. Inspired by the walled garden’s structure and history, we set out to reclaim its beauty. We rescued old fruit trees, added new varieties, and transformed the water feature into a tranquil focal point.

Initially, we filled the beds with borrowed plants, but visits to garden shows and the guidance of a plantsman expanded our knowledge and palette. Our borders bloomed with vibrant colors, arranged with an eye for design.

Later, we tackled the front garden. Lush shrubs, flowering evergreens, and a beloved pond replaced a blank lawn. A dry summer tested our new plantings, but we persevered, tweaking and refining the design as needed.

Now retired, we have even more time for plants. Pots, a polytunnel, and a veg patch are all new additions. Taking cuttings has become a passion, and our garden is truly a place to wander, relax, and share with visitors. Find out more about our gardens here
